Professor Nohair and the Wiglifters are a fast fingered jazz and boogie woogie piano trio featuring Simon Palmer on Piano/organ, Andre St Claire Dyer on Drums and Tom Allen on Double bass.
The band has been playing for 30 years now, born originally from the back three of 9 piece rhythm and blues, jump jive and early soul band The Jivin Instructors who graced the dance halls, pubs and clubs of London in the late eighties.
Simon on piano has played boogie woogie piano all his life but with the wiglifters he like to visit tunes and songs by his favourite piano and organ players such as Pete Johnson, Meade Lux Lewis, Jimmy Smith, Ramsey Lewis, Oscar Peterson and Jools Holland.
All three members of the band have fairly long and illustrious performing careers. Simon as well as performing boogie woogie piano with the Jivin Instructors 1985-1997 has performed extensively playing double bass with a street theatre band the Cosmic Sausages and is an accomplished magician under the name Professor Palmermoff.
Andre as a multi instrumentalist and singer song writer, an accomplished club DJ and has performed with many artists as well as having his own band. He is a phenomenal drummer and Simon always says he really would rather not play with anyone else!
Tom Allen has performed with many acts in and around his native Bath including The Zen Hussies, he is a stunning double bass player and again Simon says he’d rather not play with anyone else either.
Professor Nohair and the Wiglifters have to navigate around their members show biz commitments but when they play they can really play, three seasoned musicians with 1000’s of performances under their belts and it really shows.

Mulholland is fronted by Michelle Harris who is backed by guitarist and backing vocalist, Alex Dopierala. The duo has been performing together for almost 5 years, starting whilst both students at Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, from which they have now both graduated.
Due to the nature of Michelle's voice, the duo leans towards the more Soul and R&B genres. However, that said, the pair's repertoire is extensive and includes tracks from the 1950s such as Johnny B. Goode and Return To Sender, acoustic versions of Rock classics such as Sweet Child O' Mine, as well as modern day chart toppers and classic Soul & Motown numbers.
The duo pride themselves on their versatility and are always keen to have an open communication with whoever is booking them to ensure that the live music is exactly what the event needs.

The thumping tommys are a collection of talented musicians specialising in old-time music. Having played at many great festival stages, bars and cafes, the thumping tommys play a heady brew of Irish and American folk music performed with a distinctly English style, which has established them as one of the most entertaining groups working in the UK right now.
